Oh we’ve been here before!!!! Look at those boxes, some of which you may well recall as you welcomed us to your churches. Our packed Zadie reminds us of our packed PTCruiser, Reg, and then, oh my, our Abi as she took paintings as well as our packing to live away from home on tour. Today, we packed, drove twenty minutes to Melbourne CBD (central business district), parked in a reserved space in the underground garage, then put all those boxes in a lift. They were excited because they’d never been in a lift before. They’re mostly used to British rain!!
We were welcomed warmly and had some very handy help carrying boxes, then, thankfully, putting up paintings. The hanging system is incredible with fixed high wall tracks, hanging wires, and clips which adjust almost by thought, it was so easy. With help and a tall ladder. The support and welcome we had today was wonderful, bringing happy memories of previous tours (you know who you are!). Yes, the main gallery is a lift lobby and it reminds us of other interesting (!) spaces. Yet it has been professionally fit out with a track record of successful exhibits and the back of the hall is a perfect place for Points. I’m an exceedingly happy E, I can tell you.
